Becoming 25...part 1

My birthday is 11 April but on 9, Laurent took me to a Hungarian restaurant as my pre-birthday dinner. We opened a wonderful Hungarian red wine (and of course we finished it just by ourselves!) and had gorgeous and DELICIOUS Hungarian cuisine ;)) (If you have never tasted Hungarian food, well, you are missing huge thing!) We also ordered one glass each of Tokaj wine as dessert wine with my beautiful birthday cake ;))
Becoming 25 years old is a kind of big deal for most Japanese women because it used to be said that women are like Christmas cake, better value before 25 but either discounted or thrown away after 25...Of course it's not like that anymore since not many women get married before 25 years of age. Now big 30 is the huge deal for lots of women! When I was talking to my friend in a cafe how I felt getting old turning 25, I could sense that the atmosphere got suddenly frozed because of many women around us obviously look in their 30's without rings.... Then I realized I was still like a baby... (and also the fact that WOMEN ARE SCARY!)
