New PM of Japan

This is the face of new Japanese PM, Shinzo Abe.
It was Japanese leading party, Liberal Democrat Party's presidential election yesterday and Mr. Abe was elected by Members of the party (including MPs and common members) for 66%.
He will be appointed to be the next PM of Japan on 26 September and take over Koizumi's rule. He will be the first post-war generation PM and the youngest one after the war. (Eventually he becomes 52 years old today!)

In today's Japanese political scene, there are so many 2nd or 3rd generation of politicians. So is Mr. Abe. His grandfather was the PM, and his father was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and himself was the Government spokesman for Koizumi cabinet.
Also, other candidates of yesterday's election were also political princes.

Mr. Aso, on the left side on the picture above, he was the Minister of Foreign Affair in the Koizumi cabinet and his grandfather was the PM, and his father-in-law was also the PM.
Mr. Tanigaki was the Minister of Finance for the Koizumi cabinet, and he doesn't have any former PM in his family (WOW!) but his father was the Minister of Education.

Actually so is Koizumi, one of the most popular and charismatic PM, so-called. His grandfather was the Minister of Communication and his father was the Minister of Diffence, and he became the PM himself.

Some people concern if Abe really has his policy except the influence from his ancestors. Here's the new opening of "Junior's politics" again with Mr. Abe.

Here is one of CNN package which Tokyo bureau made!!! You can watch it by clicking the title.
