On 14 July , the Bank of Japan decided to stop their zero interest rate policy which they kept for 6 years. (I'm not a finantial person at all!!! but what I understand is that this policy control and limit the amount of circulating money to avoid deflation and to try enforce economy....)
It was quite a huge news for Japan and global economy. So, CNN covered the story on that ;)) Yay!!!
I accompanied a cameraman to the Bank of Japan where all the Japanese money were made!!!

There were sooooo many press!!! In a large conference room, there were full of press and bankers.
The head of BOJ has been in a middle of a scandal. That was also why all the press were there;
A couple of months ago, a successful young CEO of a funding company was arrested for insider trade.
While checking all the detail of the company, it was found out that the head of BOJ personally funded the company and made a fortune. And it was the time all other Japanese citizens were suffering from incredibly low interest rate. For example, if you deposit a million yen ($10,000/£5,000) ina bank, you'll receive 10 yen (5p) as interest... As a rule, the head of BOJ must not to get involved in any kind of trade. So, what the f*** are you doing??? that was the people's reaction towards him ;))
But mild Japanese journalism couldn't cross-question...(sigh). So, the press conference was technically for the announcement of the end of the zero rate policy.
Anyway, now we can get 1000 yen for depositing a million yen and same person as the head of BOJ...
